Commercial

Elenfield have undertaken a number of commercial projects in recent years ranging from manufacturing plants, bars & clubhouses, to office fit outs. Our commercial experience and capabilities span many industries, encompassing a wide variety of work also. Showcased here are a few examples of the variety of projects we have completed and can undertake.

Medical Education Center - Cork Street 

 

This project was completed to incorporate a new medical education facility on the grounds of The Coombe Hospital on Cork Street.

The works involved stripping and restructuring an old unused racket hall to incorporate the new facility.

The roof height of the racket hall was utilized to provide a two story structure within, having five spacious offices on the upper level and a fully fitted lecture facility on the ground level, whilst tying into the existing educational facility lying adjacent to the hall.

Private Bar & Student Area - Law Society Ireland

This project entailed stripping out the existing student area in the Law Society of Ireland to make way for a completely refurbished, modern, student socializing quarters which included a bar , recreational areas, and ancillary services. The architects on this project were O Connell Mahon Architects.

Medical Records Building - NMH

The development of a new medical records building at the National Maternity Hospital Holles Street involved the demolition of an existing prefabrication building and the construction of a new Timber Frame structure which incorporated a New Medical Records Department at ground floor level and Ancillary Office Spaces at first floor level. The project was completed on a very restrictive site which entailed "stick building" the structure insitu to limit disruption to hospital services. 

Conservation Stonework - Blackhall Place

This was a conservation project carried out in the Law Society of Ireland. The project involved complete rebuilding of the garden boundary wall of the premises which is a protected area. The architects for this project were O'Connell Mahon Architects. 

Conservation work similar to this has also been undertaken in The Mater hospital, and the listed entrance of Holles Street Hospital.
