Coombe Hospital - PPVL Isolation Room - Delivery Suite
Project Completed:2021
This project involved a complete refurbishment and upgrade of an existing delivery suite into a fully compliant PPVL Isolation room in line with infection control efforts for the Hospital.
The intricate design of the newly upgraded facility called for significant Air Handling and Ventilation plant which was facilitated and installed externally before any internal works began. The internal works were then carried out on a tight programmed basis to coincide with a short takeover period.
The finishing of the facility was cleanroom orientated in order to comply with infection control.
The internal fittings of the facility included a glazed automatic hermetic sliding door, an internal automatic sliding door, a complete en-suite unit and medical grade work stations.
