The major refurbishment in Irelands longest standing maternity hospital involves the construction of a new four-story extension and complete refurbishment of the Labour and Delivery unit (LDU).
The main structure extension will incorporate two new operating theatres together with ancillary sterile areas, a new accounts department and a plant room at roof level.
The refurbishment of the LDU will involve upgrade works to the entire department while ensuring the ongoing services of the department through strict control measures in regards to Aspergillus, noise and dust.
This project is carried out in partnership with O'Connell Mahon Architects, Arup MEP, Arup Structural, Mulcahy McDonagh Quantity Surveyors, J. Vaughan Electrical, and PJ Duffy & Sons Mechanical, building upon our long standing relationships.
